HopeI'm just a sketch  floating in a foggy dream  as the Artist creates me;  hands raised in a silent plea,  I'm begging -  
                      for what?  
I do not know.  Eyes like shutters locked up  tight, face lifted upwards:  milky white.   
A stance of pleading,  but not bleeding, for  something good to come;  I resonate helpless prayers,  not spoken  but thought - for my mouth  has been sewn shut  with the cement of defeat.

Valley of SearchWe three kings of orient are:  one in a taxi, one in a car;  one who forgot to pay the rent;  another whose life is nearly spent;  one who is trapped in reverie;  one, when young, got stuck in a tree.   
Together we come, together we go,  trav'ling through lands we never have known;  trekking through towns and over craggy peaks,  hoping to find the one we must meet.   
We three kings of orient are:  lost in this city, can't see the star;  fixing our tire, 'cause it's bent,  griping at everyone, just to vent;  but thank goodness, how Heavenly;  the son of God Valley of Search

From the Grave What fresh horror  'wakes me anew  with ghastly features  such as these?  Oh, the putrid stench  afflicting my nose,  the tendrils of flesh  twitching to and fro,  dripping off the bone,  tormenting my trembling eyes!  
 
"Away with you, foul creature  of man's doomed future!"   
 My countenance has  suffered greatly in this  dark hour; my mind  spins tales using a widow  spider's needle and thread.  Oh, corrupted time,  has Death's royal finger  directed me to my grave?

A Sort of NostalgiaFizzy, soda-pop laughs  bubble up from bottle-neck throats  as bouncy-ball children  scamper, squeal, and spring about  the vast jungle-gym outdoors,  lounging in broccoli trees  and rolling down green-carpeted hills,  dipping tiny hands into  chocolate pudding mud and  finger-painting chubby cheeks:  war paint for the epic battle of tag  between fairy princesses and  knights in shining armor,  or perhaps dragons versus dinosaurs  (both sides roaring, snarling, and clawing)

Hello all! :wave:

Well, I've got swimmer's ear... :hmm: Don't know how I managed to get it though, since I haven't been going swimming at all. :shrug: But I've got ear drops and it's feeling better after using them for a day. :)

I started reading a book I just got the other day and I'm already a good 2/3 of the way through it! :D I find, though, that I need to discover a new series or some other authors because my supply of books I haven't read already is running low. :( Any suggestions?

Tomorrow, it will be 2 months 'till my 20th birthday.....that just doesn't seem right somehow. :XD: While I don't have a problem with turning 20, I don't feel like I should be that old yet. If that makes any sense. ^^; My best friend on the other hand is terrified of turning 20. I'm not exactly sure why that is...perhaps it's just the official passage from teen to adult? :shrug: I don't know. The way I see it, time doesn't care if it's going to fast for you....so why worry about getting older?

But I'm going to get going, seeing as how it's almost time for ear drops (oh joy) and sleep. Hope everyone has a wonderful day! :D
